Classic Mussels and Fries

Ingredients

2 lb of whole mussels in butter and garlic sauce.
Frozen French fries.
A bunch of fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped into large pieces.

Instructions

1. Prepare the French fries according to the package instructions.

 

2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Place the whole mussels in a sauce pouch inside the boiling water for 5 or 6 minutes, until they open.

 

3. Transfer the mussels with all their juices to serving bowls, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with the French fries.
